Everyone called her “Sue-chan & she was one of the singer in the most popular girls group back in 70’s & 80’s. I think the name of the group was “Candies”. Many people were so devastated when they, 3 girls decided to break up the group. I heard she retired from the entertainment business when she was still young. When she got older…in her 40s? she decided to make a comeback as an actress, not as an singer. I was heartbroken to hear her illness & her passing via YouTube. I heard 3 girls remained close even after the group broke up & they were extremely sad at her funeral. I know she was well respected & received by her peers & her fans adored her. It is too bad she left this world so young…(=_=)
Oh, I’m also sorry about your mother being a monster….. abusing you mentally & physically. Do you live with your relatives or other foster family? Was your mom at least got arrested? I hope you are getting the regular counseling, so your pain & agony could heal slowly. It takes a long time to get over a traumatic experience, so I hope you’re getting some help to heal your emotional & physical scars. Take it easy!
I loved the manga so muuuuch and it’s really rare when I love a manga to the point of wanting to end it. But unfortunately the manga was left unended and the author never finished it T_T

From watching a single episode of this, I’m not sure whether to hate Makiko or like her. I can appreciate her ability to stand up for herself and not accept co-workers going too nit-picky over her nail habits (because it is possible to get things done on time even if you’re a bit side-tracked only slightly). At the same time, I don’t like her being overly pompous and greedy at a fine restaurant with her family. Ordering entire pages of foods sounds like one of the most craziest requests I’d ever hear in my entire life. Usually, it’s more common to pick one item per course type. It’s either a combination of one or two appetizers, one or two main dishs, and a dessert. Although it really depends on the establishment and how much courses they offer. In other words, this woman is nuts when it comes to eating out and putting a strain on the family spending budget. She could have just paid for all of it at the start herself since she does work and seems paid well. And her parents could pay a portion of it if they insist on it.
OMG the French transcript is just 😂 But the sentences said by the actors are grammatically right and do make sense, so why? ( French, English AND Japanese transcripts are false, at least for the first sentence. OK, it’s not really important but I wanted to say it. My favourite part being the “I want to be alone”, the french translation written as “quand je veau”. “Veau” is a calf. There is not verb in this sentence. It doesn’t mean anything. Plus, the actress is saying “as/whenever I wish” (can’t really get what she says) so. Well. (oh whatever, I’m still going to watch this drama, it seems funny)
Piper Bones Only the 0:30 to 0:34 part is wrong. Except that, the translation is OK (I think the fansub team translate from the Japanese transcript which was made by the channel, and it contains errors of course 😅)
If she were my sister, she would have gotten a slap in the face at some point. Maybe multiple ones. No way I would have let that go on for that long. I have three sisters, two of them older than me, and we fought constantly (both verbally and physically). We get along well now as adults, but we had to get there. She needs to learn to fight back, which I think is what this series is getting to.
Can’t count how many times I’ve watched this show. I need a new remake only this time more involved with Kumiko and the guy she likes,I want their love to build up more on it.
